How to Export
a Route File

RideIntel accepts GPX and FIT files from any device or platform. Here's how to get yours — whether you planned the route on a computer or recorded it on a device.

Strava
Desktop
Go to strava.com and open any activity or saved route. On an activity, click the ⋯ menu and select Export GPX. On a saved route, open the route and click Export in the top right.
Mobile
Strava's mobile app does not support GPX export. Use the desktop site, or open strava.com in your phone's browser and export from there.
Ride with GPS
Desktop
Open any route or activity on ridewithgps.com. Click the Export button near the top of the page and choose GPX File.
Mobile
In the Ride with GPS app, open a route or activity and tap the ⋯ menu. Select Export and choose GPX. The file saves to your phone's Files app.
Wahoo ELEMNT
Mobile App
Open the Wahoo app and tap History. Select the ride, tap the Share icon, and choose Export as FIT or Export as GPX.
Via USB
Connect your ELEMNT to a computer. Open the device in Finder (Mac) or File Explorer (Windows) and navigate to the Activities folder. Copy the .fit file for the ride you want.
Garmin
Garmin Connect — Desktop
Go to connect.garmin.com and click Activities. Open the activity, click the ⚙ gear icon in the top right, and select Export to GPX or Export to FIT.
Garmin Connect — Mobile
Open the Garmin Connect app and tap More → Activities. Select the activity, tap the ⋯ menu, and choose Export. Select FIT or GPX.
Via USB
Connect your Garmin to a computer and open it in Finder or File Explorer. Navigate to Garmin → Activities. Your rides are stored as .fit files.
Komoot
Desktop
Open any route or completed tour on komoot.com. Click the Download button (arrow icon) in the top right and select GPX.
Mobile
In the Komoot app, open a route or tour and tap the ⋯ menu. Select Export or Share and choose GPX. A Komoot account is required.
Apple Watch & iPhone
Overview
Apple does not natively export GPX or FIT files. You'll need a third-party app. The most reliable option is HealthFit (iOS, $3.99) — connect it to Apple Health, tap any workout, and export as FIT or GPX in seconds. WorkOutDoors records rides with GPS and exports directly as GPX.
Polar, Suunto, Coros & Others
Polar
Log into flow.polar.com, open an activity, and click Export → GPX. The mobile app does not support direct export — use the website.
Suunto
Log into app.suunto.com, open an activity, and click Export → GPX. Or connect via USB — activities are stored as .fit files in the Activities folder.
Coros
Log into training.coros.com, open an activity, click the Download icon, and select GPX or FIT.
Sigma ROX
Connect your ROX via USB. Activities are stored in the Training folder as .fit files.
